Portable Blaster

portable blaster | Krishnashot

A Portable Blaster is a compact and mobile surface preparation machine designed for on-site cleaning, rust removal, paint stripping, and surface finishing. Unlike fixed blasting cabinets, portable blasters are easy to transport and can be used directly at the job location, making them highly versatile for industrial, automotive, shipyard, construction, and maintenance applications.

These machines use compressed air to propel abrasive media such as steel grit, garnet, aluminum oxide, or glass beads at high velocity onto the surface, effectively removing contaminants and preparing it for coating or painting. Most portable blasters are equipped with a pressure vessel, abrasive control valve, moisture separator, and nozzle system to ensure consistent and efficient blasting performance.

Advanced models may also include dust collectors or wet blasting attachments for safer and more environmentally controlled operation. With a compact design, adjustable pressure controls, and compatibility with a wide range of abrasive media, portable blasters offer a cost-effective and efficient solution for achieving uniform and reliable surface preparation across various industries.

Portable Blaster Operating Safety Wear

Blasting Helmet with Air Supply

A certified blasting helmet protects the face and eyes from high-velocity abrasive while supplying clean, breathable air to prevent inhalation of dust and fumes.

Heavy-Duty Protective Suit

body from rebounding grit, which behaves like thousands of tiny bullets once they leave the nozzle.

Safety Gloves

Proper gloves protect hands from abrasive impact, vibration, and accidental contact with sharp surfaces during blasting operations.

Safety Shoes with Steel Toe

Steel-toe footwear guards against falling objects and abrasive spillage, while anti-slip soles maintain stability on dusty or uneven floors.

Safety Shoes with Steel Toe

Portable blasters generate high noise levels; earplugs or earmuffs reduce the risk of long-term hearing damage.
