    Batch Type Powder Coating System

A batch type powder coating system is a setup used in the process of applying powder coating to various surfaces. Powder coating is a dry finishing process in which finely ground particles of pigment and resin are electrostatically charged and sprayed onto the surface of a component.

The charged powder particles adhere evenly to the surface and are then exposed to heat. During the heating process, the powder melts and chemically fuses, forming a smooth, tough, and durable coating that provides excellent protection and appearance.

In a batch type powder coating system, the coating process is carried out in batches rather than on a continuous production line. Parts or components are loaded into a powder coating booth or spray area where the coating material is applied in a controlled manner.

After the powder application, the coated parts are transferred to a curing oven. Inside the oven, the coated surfaces are heated to a specific temperature, allowing the powder to cure properly and bond firmly to the substrate.

Batch type powder coating systems are commonly used in smaller-scale manufacturing units, workshops, and custom fabrication facilities. These systems are especially suitable for parts that require special handling, varying coating specifications, or frequent color changes.

Due to their flexible operation and lower initial investment, batch type systems are more cost-effective for small to medium production volumes when compared to continuous powder coating systems.
